New £3m holiday park approved for Great Ayton area
A new holiday park in the Great Ayton area has been approved, after the local council backed plans for a £3m development were given the green light. The area on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors will play host to new site comprised of 54 holiday chalets. This is greatly reduced from the 179 originally proposed by developer Alan Petch, but came after discussions with Hambleton District Council, local businesses and Stokesley and Great Ayton Parish Councils.
