Alton Towers provide games to children’s ward

Alton Towers has designed bespoke mobile media units to entertain children at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The theme park’s Merlin Magic Making team has created two stylish pods which contain games, TVs, crafts and other activities. Consultant paediatrician Melissa Hubbard said: “Some of the children are unable to access the playroom due to illness and the units will help ensure they don’t miss out as they can be taken to the patient’s bedside.” The units were made by the Merlin Magic Making team, which create attractions for Merlin’s tourist sites.
