Clacton operators hail success of public-private tourism campaign
By pooling their efforts and budgets with their local council, two of Clacton’s amusement operators have helped grow the value of its tourism industry. Two of Clacton’s biggest amusement operators have hailed a public-private initiative that they have seen boost the health of the resort’s tourism industry. The Love Clacton campaign, which launched three years ago, was funded jointly by Clacton Pier, Clacton Pavilion and Tendring Council. By combining their marketing budgets, it has resulted in the resort being featured in a series of television adverts on ITV since 2015.
