Llandudno Pier owner “left in limbo” after Pavilion decision deferred


The owner of Llandundo Pier said he had been “left in limbo” after a decision on controversial development plans for the vacant pavilion pier site were deferred. Adam Williams fears that if the £15m residential block is approved, noise complaints would force the pier’s attractions including its amusement arcade to close and make it economically unviable. Although Conwy County Borough Council planners recommended the £15m scheme be given planning permission, at a meeting last week its planning committee expressed doubts and deferred the decision until the new year.
